HOMEWORK: CHAPTER 22 – DUE 2/28

Victor tells his father, “A thousand times would I have shed my own blood, drop by drop, to have saved their lives. . .” (184) Do you think that Victor would have truly sacrificed his life for his friends and family? Why or why not?

  5. they say love is a powerful emotion. for that saying i would think victor would sacrifice his for his loved ones, but of course he can't save them all. he is just one man and he only has one life so in a way i guess he would have to choose.

  7. I honestly think he would. Victor might've wanted to do some negative things in the past, but even at that, I think he would sacrifice his life for his loved ones. Not just because he feels responsible for some of their deaths, but because before he 'wanted to do bad', he seemed like he really loved his family. I think almost everyone would sacrifice their life for their families.

  8. I agree with Thomas. Love is a powerful emotion. And no matter how bad someone is, I think love can beat it. So no matter how scary Victor's situation is, I'm sure that his love for his family will beat this fear and any other kind of fear.

  9. yes. not only because of the fact that he cares, cherishes, and loves them but he feels that this was his fault therefore having the responsibility to all this mess.

  14. yes i think he would because he approached the monster and he was not scared he wanted the revenge. also how they say blood is thicker that water even though he created that monster he still has his family which is moor important than what he created. he was responsible on what happened.
