Homework: Chapter 5 – Due Block Days 1/31 & 2/1


INSTRUCTIONS:  All blogs must be at least five complete sentences.
1.    Write a blog to Mrs. Q's prompt entitled "Homework:  Chapter 5" +55pts
2.    Write a blog response to at least one classmate +55pts

How does Victor react when his creation comes to life? Explain your feelings about his reaction to his creation. Were you surprised? Why or why not?

    Victor's reaction was he was terrified. He was shocked that he actually gave life to an inanimate object. I was surprised to see that Victor was terrified of his creation because he spent alot of time preparing and working on it. I feel Victor has a good reason to be scared because his creation is big and scary. I think he should have really thought it through before bringing "his creation" to life.

    Victor was freaked out he was surprised on what he had just made. He is scared out of his mind he's seeing things and he cant sleep. I thought he was supposed to be an evil scientist i never thought he would be scared of his creation. I think i would be scared too if i made something scary like that too.

    victor is a mean scientist.The word "mean" describes to me that he is not afraid of anything.But what happen in chapter five,it was very tragic.He got scared of his own creation.He could not stand from what he created.If i were in his shoes, i would be really scared too.

    Victor was scared and horrfied he didnt know what to do. He was very shocked by the creature that he has created. For me, I think ill be scared running for my life too.... because having that creature will be really freaky!

    Victor at first was in awe. Before his creation came to life, he was, just as anyone would feel when having to do something that took time, proud of the progress and accomplishments. He then falls asleep but upon waking up, he FREAKS!!! Frankenstein(creation) twitches with life. I really wasnt surprised at all. I think he did what anyone else would do. I'd be freaked out too.

    How did Victor feel? petrified. waking up to something that wasnt living before he fell asleep. like everyone else i would freak out. freaked as in i would stand there, stare at what i've brought to life, and tell myself i am the man.

    One stormy night after months of labor Victor completes his creation but when he brings it to life its awful appearance horrifies him e rushes to the next room and tries to sleep but he is troubled by nightmares about elizabeth and his mothers corpse i agree with mat that he was also petrified

    Victor was scared of what he made. He didnt know what was happening and he also didn't know how to react to it. My thoughts on this is why would he be scared of what he made? He shouln't be scared. He should know how it works and how to handle it.

    Victor reacts really scared when he found out his creation was alive. I think his reaction was really weird. I mean, he was the one who created the way he looked and everything. What was he expecting? That it would look better when it was alive? I actually was surprised. Mostly because, I thought it was a dream. It seemed a little unpredictable that Victor would be asleep when his creation became alive. So I kind of was surprised.

    I agree with Kalisto. Victor probably was just proud of his progress and accomplishments. He probably thought it would take more time. And it freaked him out more when he found out his creation was alive.

    Victor was scared and he was not in the right state of mind. he's dumb because who would be scared of their creation. when you are the one that made it.
