HOMEWORK: CHAPTER 24 – DUE 2/28

Victor’s scientific knowledge led to several murders. What factors might have influenced how Victor’s knowledge was used? Could Victor’s experiments been used for good? Why or why not?

  1. It was not used for good. Because victor invented this monster when he was mad. I mean just by thinking of that, it was really not a good used of that creature. The good use was that he actually built something back from the dead. But it was a bad result for victor.

  2. i dont know what were his intentions so i cant say if he created it for good or bad. when he first created the creature he was a mad scientist, so i guess that says what it was all about. the creature wanted to be liked, but he did bad things. Victor regrets creating the creature because he lost all his loved ones.

  4. I think some factors would be the books he read and also his atitude when he was younger. I think they could've been used for good. They could've been used for good, if Victor told others about the experiment and it could've led to a discovery that could be important.

  5. I agree with Kephas. It could be a good thing because he made something from the dead, and that could be a great discovery.

  6. to me it was led to all those events because he created a being so powerful that slightly holding an egg would be impossible without breaking it. frankenstein was terrifying but not horrible, not until he felt all the feelings of emptiness and rejection from the world. victor couldve put his knowledge and intentions to good use by helping frank understand and others understand frank. then they would all get along. frank couldve been of great survice/help to a lot of peole. he was handy to the cottagers. but victors' intentions were influnced by curiosity and desires of the mind.

  7. i think victor had created the creature from his curiosity of how man came to be,..i don't think he made the creature for any bad reasons..

  8. i guess victor didn't think he could bring an inanimate object to life. Therefore we don't really know if it was created to do good things or bad things. a series of events led the creature to do horrible and unforgivable things.

  9. basically... Victor was just too excited to create and think about the outcome... He's creation led to a disaster because the monster felt abandoned He had no one to give love to/receive love from... That's why he asked him to create a mate for him.. It could've been used for good if Victor just perhaps showed love not hate. Frankenstein wasn't this killer person, he was a kind dude but then he was getting reject and felt bad and thats when he turned bad.. he turn bad because on what they did to him

  11. I think was mad when he was creating Frankenstein. I think Victors experiments weren't used for good. Because it led to a couple of murders. And his creation was miserable and he was lonely. He didnt have any friends which led to something bad.

  12. I agree with Jayson b/c maybe victor was excited to create this monster. And Frankesntein was lonely and he wanted someone to have relationship with.
