Victor got sick. He had fever and very ill. Henry came and took care of him. He started reading books.He was with henry learning oriented languages. He started getting letters from elizabeth. That is when he started changing. No more Mr.evil.
Henry is responsible for Victor's change. When Victor was very ill Henry came over and took care of him. After that Victor started reading books and learning alot of different languages.
in chapter 6 elizabeth's writes a letter saying about victor's illness and entreats him to write to his family in geneva as soon as he can. she also tells him that Justine Moritz a girl who used to live with the Frankenstein family has returned to their house following her mother’s death.
This is the good side of Victor. The side that's not caught up in his science studies. Henry is responsible for this change in Victor. Henry noticed that Victor wasn't doing very well (socially). So, Henry got Victor interested in learning about oriental languages. And Victor was very fond of this. If not as much, even more than his studies of science. It was a good thing what Henry did for his friend.
fabien.... you're confusing. i think it was his paranoid side being subdued by his finally conscience self. he regained control and was now ok. he was first having these illusions and thoughts about his creation so on and so forth but gets better from henry and reassuring letters from home. but there was one not so reassuring letter from his dad saying william died.... so dont count that one. =]
i think victor changed for so many reasons,alot of it was the fact the the people around him were changing him.people often say things and do things that made him change itto the person he is now..

ReplyDeleteI agree with Ziggy. When Elizabeth wrote a letter saying that she was worried about Victor, this helped Victor change.
